Frequently Asked Questions

We get it, knowing all the right questions to ask your potential wedding day vendors can seem like a lot! We are hopeful this page is going to help make that process just a little be easier, so you can get back to the fun parts of planning!

Where are you located and do you travel?

Home for us is Portsmouth, NH - but we travel just about anywhere! Even if it means hoping on a plane, train or boat. So if you want us to be a part of capturing your day, we do too.

Weddings taking place within 75 miles of Portsmouth are considered local (portrait sessions are up to 30 miles), and no travel fees would be needed. If your event takes place outside of our local range, we just ask for a flat fee to cover the travel and accommodation expenses.

how will WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS/VIDEO?

Photo & video collections are delivered via a private, online gallery. Once the edits are complete, you will receive an email with a secure link to access the entire collection. From there, you can download photos as a group or individually, formatted in both a full size for printing, or social media size for sharing on Instagram or Facebook.

Do you watermark your photos?

When we share preview images on our Facebook page, we do include a subtle watermark; however, your gallery will be free of any watermarks.

How many images will I receive?

As a general rule, you can expect to receive 50-75 edited images for every hour of coverage. Our intention is to include the best of the best, with a selection of black & white images, that showcase your day (or session) from start to finish.

Do you have a 2nd photographer? Do i need two photographers?

Most of the time, it’s me, myself & I capturing your day! However, if your wedding needs an additional photographer, we can absolutely add that into your collection.

Don’t know if you actually need a 2nd photographer or not? Let’s chat about it! I can almost guarantee some wedding blog or TikTok video has told you its a MUST, but I’m here to tell you that may not be the case after all.

Unless you have more than 200 guests attending or require travel to multiple locations on your wedding day, there’s a pretty big chance you are just fine with one photographer.

have you ever photographed a wedding at our venue?

Maybe! But if not, you have nothing to worry about! We love getting to explore new places and always spend plenty of time ahead of your day scouting for the perfect locations on site.

Do you offer albums, prints or usb?

Yes to all of the above! We can include custom albums, print packages and custom USB’s to any of your collections. And if you would prefer to print your photos on your own, that’s okay too! Just try to avoid places like Walgreens or Costco and let us pass on recommendations for some semi-professional print labs that will maintain the color and quality of your images.

What happens if it rains?

As New England natives, we are fully accustomed to unpredictable weather changes. If its calling for a light sprinkle or flurry of snow, we always suggest embracing it!

Specifically, for portrait sessions, we will monitor the forecast and pass on suggestions if rescheduling seems like our best option. And for weddings, its always a good idea to have a backup plan (ie: indoor ceremony location). Clear umbrellas always make for some fun photos too!

how long will it take to get our photos/video back?

For portrait sessions, galleries are delivered within 3-4 weeks. For weddings, every couple will receive “sneak peeks” within the first 48 hours, with full photo galleries delivered in 8-10 weeks. Video collections are delivered in 12-16 weeks from the event date.

can we have the raw/unedited photos?

We like to think everyone can agree we have a unique style - full of warmth, depth, and a creative flair! So to achieve this particular style, certain adjustments must be made to the images captured. We will also clean up any small imperfections (ie: blemishes) and adjust exposure, etc. Therefore, RAW images will not be provided.
